If you watched American Idol this season, you already know the winner who took home the gold, and she’s got one of those voices you don’t really forget. Now she’s bringing that same energy to Rochester this summer.

That’s right… Hannah Harper is coming to town, and it’s all for a really good cause supporting our local heroes.

The Oronoco Fire Fighters Relief Association and Oronoco First Responders just announced the special benefit performance that is happening Saturday, July 25th at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester. And cool news, it’s not just Hannah you'll get to see - the event will also feature several local artists!

Minnesota-based hip-hop group Arketype will also be part of the night, with Jayce Schulte and Josh Effefson set to be the emcees. And, Minnesota’s Poppa Bear Norton is set to open the show.

But, the best part of it all is it is a benefit supporting local firefighters and emergency responders. Proceeds go right back into things like training, equipment, and supporting the hard work they do every single day.

This event is an opportunity for the community to come together for a great night of music while supporting the men and women who dedicate themselves to protecting others. - Colby Lesniak with the Oronoco First Responders.

The show is Saturday, July 25th at the Presentation Hall inside the Mayo Civic Center. There are two show times - 2p and 6:30p.
