Hillary Scott Celebrates Her Twin Babies With Girlfriends and Good Food
Lady Antebellum's Hilary Scott shared photos of what appeared to be a perfect baby shower in Nashville on Thursday (Dec. 14), an event in which good food and good girlfriends took center stage.
"Today was the most precious and perfect celebration for our little girls," Scott noted on Instagram. "One of my favorite parts about today was that a table full of amazing women (a few not pictured, and a few unable to attend who we missed tremendously!!) had great fellowship, laughs, and lifted each other up...all while celebrating these two babies who I pray grow up to first be who God has created them to be, but also a melting pot of all of the hearts in this room who love them so much already."
Guests at the party, as recorded by Scott's Instagram, included the newly married Kelsea Ballerini, and bandmate Dave Haywood's wife, Kelli, who is also expecting (her baby is due this month).
The event was held at Husk Nashville, a critically acclaimed restaurant specializing in regional Southern cuisine and housed in a beautiful historic mansion. Scott noted that the eatery made everyone's "bellies REALLY happy."
Scott is expecting twin girls in February. She and husband, drummer Chris Tyrell, revealed her pregnancy in August, sharing a video of the moment they told their 4-year-old daughter, Eisele, that she would be welcoming two baby sisters.
"Eisele is so excited to have her very own living baby dolls," the singer wrote as part of an adorable baby gender reveal. "Chris and I are beyond grateful that we get to raise a household of little ladies, and can't wait to watch and help them grow into kind, independent, and confident women!"
