Champlin, MN (KROC AM News) - The search for the suspected killer of a Twin Cities woman has ended.

And it turns out the suspect was the victim’s husband.

Police officers in Champlin were called to a residential neighborhood Monday night and found a 35-year-old woman in a front yard “covered in blood and not breathing.” Efforts to revive her were not successful. Officers began an immediate search for her killer but the person was not located.

Champlin police have identified the woman as 35-year-old Peachu Yates of Champlin. Her 45-year-old husband James Nyonteh was apprehended in Fargo, ND Tuesday morning.

No word yet on when charges will be filed.
