Is This a Minnesota Saying?
I saw one of those "you'll only understand this if you're from Minnesota" posts. As I was reading it, I stopped on one, and was shocked to see it as an exclusive Minnesota saying! Do they really not say this in other states??
The saying:
"It's kitty-corner from your house!"
Key word(s): kitty-corner.
Do people not say this? If not, what are they saying? Diagonal? Supposedly some say katty-corner. NO WAY! I've never heard that. Have you?
The more I research, the more I see that "kitty-corner" is totally a Midwestern thing. Who woulda thunk?
