Is This the Most Popular Plastic Surgery Procedure in Minnesota?

A new report is out that says cosmetic procedures are increasing in popularity across the U.S. But is this the most popular procedure here in Minnesota too?

Dolly Parton is quoted as having once said, "If I see something sagging, bagging or dragging, I'll get it nipped, tucked or sucked." Well, it turns out a lot of us are like Dolly these days, according to this CNN story.

It says that cosmetic plastic surgery procedures are becoming more and more popular, as more of us are heading under the knife to have doctors change our body, face or just get rid of a little fat.

And, the story goes on to says that, according to a new report from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, breast augmentation is still the number-one reason people have plastic surgery. That's followed by liposuction, nose reshaping, eyelid surgeries and facelifts.

But are those the most popular surgeries here in Minnesota? I did a quick Google search, and couldn't find any information specific to the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

Perhaps in the Twin Cities, the 'ol breast augmentation procedure is still the most popular -- as I'm sure it is out in California and New York. But here in the rest of the Minnesota? I'm not so sure.

I'm thinking some of the other procedures might be a little more popular among the rest of us more easily-embarrassed Midwesterners. I can't prove that, though. Maybe that's just me.
