I am a Halloween girl through and through. It's not that I don't like Christmas but I just have a soft spot in my heart for Halloween.

However, one thing that helps me through my post-October sadness is really cheesy Christmas movies. In my world, the cheesier they are, the more I love them.

There is never a shortage of Christmas movies that start dropping this time of the year. From Hallmark movies to Netflix and everywhere in between, there's always a ton to watch. I love it!

Now there's another one to put on your radar - with a Wisconsin twist! There's a movie coming out THIS WEEKEND set in small town Wisconsin. I will be watching.

New Christmas Movie 'A Wisconsin Christmas Pie' Comes Out This Week

Yes to this! Great American Family, also famous for their entertaining and heart-warming Christmas movies, is getting into the spirit and showing a little love for Wisconsin. The film comes out on Saturday (October 11th).

It will air at 7 p.m. You can stream it a few days early via their streaming service. The movie stars Katie Leclerc and Ryan Carnes. I am obsessed with this! The best part? It is set in Door County, a small but amazing town about six hours from here.

What Is The Premise Of 'A Wisconsin Christmas Pie' Movie?

This has all the fixings of a classic Hallmark-type Christmas movie. Two characters that will inevitably fall in love? Check! A bakery of some sort? Check! A small town? Check! I am here for it.

It also features someone returning to their hometown with their former flame there. We've seen this film before but I still can't wait to watch. Ha! The premise for the movie is as follows:

A pastry chef returns to Door County, Wisconsin for the holidays, and must choose between her dream job and the legacy of her family's cherry orchard business - with a little help from her high school sweetheart, and a lost cherry pie recipe.
