Country music's hottest couples kept it chill on the CMT Music Awards red carpet. Well, most of them kept it chill.

Kelsea Ballerini was a bit cuddly with her man, and Jelly Roll flirted with Bunnie Xo as cameras snapped. The new trend seems to be to roll like you've done it a thousand times, however.

Is PDA uncool this year?

Sam Hunt, Lainey Wilson and Little Big Town's Jimi and Karen didn't feel a need to snuggle or kiss. George Birge and Parker McCollum were very gentlemanly as they posed with their wives.

Some of country music's biggest couples were a no-show. Keith Urban walked alone, and Trisha Yearwood traded Garth Brooks for her sister Beth. Jason Aldean is another artist who came alone. Notable this year is the turnover performers.

Newcomers from a year or two ago are now the featured performers, and most are proving they're ready for the attention.
