Brave 8-Year-Old Girl Fights Off Armed Liquor Store Robber With Baseball Bat [Watch]

Crime can occur at any time and any place. Some places more frequent than others. One of the businesses that are known to get stuck-up are liquor stores.

But criminals beware, you never know who or what's lurking in plain sight, ready to fend off a crime at any moment.

In a shocking video out of Maplewood, Minnesota, at Big Discount Liquors store, you can watch the bravest 8-year-old girl stand up to an armed criminal inside the liquor store.

First, a few questions you might have. What is an 8 year-old doing with a baseball bat in a liquor store?

The young girl was there with her father, Leo, who is the manager of the liquor store. It was almost closing time and they were getting ready to go when a man dressed as an Amazon delivery person walked in.

According to Leo, "He put the gun on the table, he asked me to give him all the money and everything in the register. I told him yes."

As a dad would do, he asked that the robber not hurt his daughter who was behind the counter.

The video shows the would-be robber then walking behind the counter with the gun. That's when the store manager punched him in the face and he hit the floor.

Then, on the video the 8 year-old girl can be seen grabbing a baseball bat and whacked the assailant a few times with a very Aaron Judge type swing.

The dumb criminal then got up and ran off. Leo said he didn't even realize that his daughter did that with the bat until he went back and watched the surveillance video.

As a father, this last part got me. Leo asked his daughter why she did that and she said, "She wanted to defend him and that she loved him so much."
