Riley Green Hints His Next Album Might Include Some Legendary Duets
Riley Green's 2024 album, Don't Mind If I Do, has been his most successful album to-date — charting the highest out of all his album releases.
But Green's not resting on his laurels: That project's success made him want to be back in the studio preparing for what is next. And what he's working on now promises to feature some exciting, iconic collaborations.
Green hung out with me on Taste of Country Nights to chat about his latest partnership with HeyDude, called HeyCation.
I asked him about his upcoming album that he is working on, and that is where he revealed some juicy details that you should know about.
Riley Green Reveals Next Album Features Unexpected Iconic Collaborations
"Well, there's some collaborations on this project that I didn't even expect," Green tells me," so some of those things were, it's kinda pinch yourself moments."
He didn't name names, but Green made it sound like maybe those duet partners hail from country's legend era.
"When you get artists that you're such a big fan of and that you grew up listening to, be a part of your project... I'm sure I can't name any names but there's some really awesome collaborations coming on this record."
Who Has Riley Green Featured On His Albums Already?
A far as only full-length albums are concerned, Green has featured these artists on his albums:
- Luke Bryan: Featured on the track "Reel Problems" on the Don't Mind If I Do album.
- Ella Langley: Featured on the title track "Don't Mind If I Do" on the Don't Mind If I Do album.
- Luke Combs: Featured on the song "Different 'Round Here" on the Different 'Round Here album.
He has of course been the feature artist on big songs like Thomas Rhett's "Half of Me" and Ella Langley's "You Look Like You Love Me."

This is the second time Green has talked to me in an interview about how excited he is to get to work with artists he grew up listening to.

The first time, he specifically named Tracy Lawrence in a prior interview, and raved about how special it was to have him be a guest on his tour.
I'm not saying Lawrence is one of the above teased collaborations, but he certainly fits the mold.
