Crash at Rochester Area Intersection Sends Two Drivers to Hospital
The state crash report says a northbound sedan and eastbound SUV collided in the intersection, which is controlled by a stoplight.
The car diver is identified as 26-year-old Samuel Craig Rose of Elgin and the SUV was driven by 75-year-old Pamela Mae Littlefield of Chatfield.
Both drivers were taken from the crash scene to St. Mary’s Hospital with what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries. The report does not indicate which vehicle had a red light at the intersection.
Rose and Littlefield were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the two-vehicle collision, the report says.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Rochester Fire Department and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also responded to the crash.
