Winona, MN (KROC-AM News) - Court documents indicate a shooting early Saturday at a bar in western Wisconsin that left a Winona man with life-threatening injuries was captured on a surveillance camera video recording inside the bar.

The Buffalo County Wisconsin Attorney's Office has charged 39-year-old Damien Bryant Winn with first-degree attempted murder. He waived extradition to Wisconsin during a brief hearing in Winona County Court this morning.

A court filing in Winona County says Winn was arrested around 11 AM Saturday in Winona on an arrest warrant issued by authorities in Wisconsin. He had been identified as the person suspected of shooting a 33-year-old Winona man in the abdomen at George's Lounge across the Mississippi River from Winona in Buffalo, Wisconsin.

A news release from the Buffalo County Sheriff's Office says the victim was found in the parking lot of the establishment around 2:15 AM and he was rushed to a hospital to be treated for the life threatening wound. His name has not been released.

A manhunt was then launched for Winn that involved multiple law enforcement agencies using search dogs and a drone. The Winona County Court filing indicates Winn was on probation for a 2019 felony assault conviction when the shooting occurred.
