Trucker Killed in Rural Minnesota Crash Involving Dump Truck and Grain Truck
Warroad, MN (KROC-AM News)- A truck driver lost his life in a rural Minnesota crash involving a dump truck and a grain truck.

The State Patrol says he was the lone occupant of the dump truck he was driving. A man and child were in the other vehicle.
First responders were dispatched to the crash shortly after 6 p.m. on Tuesday in northern Minnesota’s Roseau County at the intersection of County Rd. 12 and 530th Ave, which is about 10 miles southwest of Warroad.
The dump truck was traveling east on County Rd. 12 and the grain truck was heading southbound on 530th Ave. when the large vehicles collided in the intersection, according to the state crash report.
59-year-old Richard Lee Hasbrouck of Warroad was driving the dump truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The grain truck operator was identified as 39-year-old Tyson Emil Lovejoy of Warroad.
He and an 11-year-old boy riding with him, identified as Eli Elton Lovejoy, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were brought to a hospital for further care.
Tyson and Eli were not buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the fatality, the state report says.
