At least five lives have been lost in traffic crashes on Minnesota’s roads since Monday morning. 

Three people were killed in two traffic crashes during a snowfall on Monday morning, a young man lost his life in a crash Tuesday morning and at least one person died in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning. 

3 Dead Following Two Crashes During Monday Morning Snowfall in Minnesota

The series of fatalities began in the Brainerd Lakes area shortly before 7:30 Monday morning. 

67-year-old Pamela Jean Beebe of Brainerd died at a hospital after a pick-up slid head-on into her SUV shortly before near the Brainerd airport.

47-year-old Donald James Want of Deerwood, MN was driving the pick-up. He was brought to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the state crash report

State Patrol Identifies Victims of Fatal Rollover Crash Near Thief River Falls, MN

A man and woman from Grand Forks, ND also died in a crash Monday morning. They were traveling in an SUV that rolled over on a slick road in the Thief River Falls area shortly before 8 a.m.

The driver, 68-year-old Tina Annette Klein, and passenger, 62-year-old Charles Roland Hill, were both pronounced dead at the crash scene, the State Patrol says

19-Year-Old Man Dies in Two-Vehicle Crash Near Bemidji, MN

On Tuesday morning a 19-year-old man lost his life in a two-vehicle crash. The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office says he was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which is about 11 miles north of Bemidji. His name has not been released. 

The other driver, described as an adult female, was transported to a hospital. Her condition is not known and her name has not been released as of Wednesday morning.

At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Detroit Lakes Wednesday morning

 

The State Patrol says a westbound pick-up carrying three people from Montana collided with a northbound car occupied by a Sebeka, MN woman at an intersection along Hwy. 10. 

The names and the death toll from the crash have not yet been released in the preliminary crash report.
