Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Twin Cities man is scheduled to be sentenced in May for having sexual contact with a 13-year-old Rochester girl.

24-year-old Daniel Hodde today entered into a plea agreement in Olmsted County Court and admitted to a fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct charge. Under the plea deal, a second-degree charge was dismissed.

The Inver Grove Heights man was accused of meeting with the underage girl during a gathering at the Rochester International Events Center in August 2021 after exchanging messages with her on Snapchat. The criminal complaint in the case alleged the victim previously told Hodde she was 12 years old during at least one of their social media conversations.

It was also alleged that Hodde and the girl had been drinking alcohol at the gathering before he gave her and another underage girl a ride to the victim's home in his car. The criminal complaint says after the other girl went into the home, Hodde sexually touched the 13-year-old both over and under her clothing.

The girl told the police she then went into her home and told the other girl what had happened. The following day the victim's mother contacted Rochester police.
