Injuries Reported in Crash on Highway 52 Southeast of Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol and other emergency responders were dispatched this afternoon to a traffic crash with injuries on Highway 52 southeast of Rochester.
The two-vehicle collision was reported just after 1 PM at the intersection of Highway 52 and 90th Avenue Southeast, which is about 3.5 miles southeast of the I-90 interchange. The State Patrol's preliminary report on the incident indicates a car traveling north on Highway 52 collided with a minivan headed west on 90th Avenue.
The car was driven by a 32-year-old Chatfield woman, who had one passenger, and an 11-year-old boy. The minivan was driven by a 58-year-old Minneapolis woman.
The names of the people involved in the collision have not been released and information about the extent of their injuries and medical conditions is not available.
In addition to the State Patrol, the Olmsted County Sheriff's Office, Chatfield Ambulance, and Eyota Fire and Ambulance responded to the crash.
