Kenyon Woman Killed in Collision With Deer Near Zumbrota
Zumbrota, MN (KROC-AM News) - An encounter last with a deer on a Highway in Goodhue County claimed the life of a Kenyon woman.
The State Patrol says the deadly incident was reported at 9:30 PM on Highway 60 about a mile west of Zumbrota. The preliminary crash report indicates 35-year-old Samantha Diane Johnson was driving a Dodge Neon west on Highway 60 when the car made contact with a deer.
The State Patrol says Johnson was transported by ambulance to St. Marys Hospital where she later died from her injuries.

A passenger in the vehicle, 38-year-old Richard Johnson of Kenyon, was not injured in the crash.
