Rochester Man Accused of Wielding Machete During Dispute
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Rochester man is facing a felony charge after being accused of wielding a machete during a dispute on Monday.

The criminal complaint, filed in Olmsted County Court on Tuesday, says Rochester Police officers responded to the report of an agitated man with a machete at a residence in northwest Rochester shortly before 4:15 p.m.
One of the officers reported seeing two men who appeared to be on the verge of fighting each other.
Charges: Man Wielded Machete During Dispute at Rochester Residence
The victim told police a man identified as 43-year-old Solomon Malik Williams pulled out and raised a machete on him during the dispute, the complaint says. He reported retreating to his vehicle and grabbing a stick to defend himself.
Officers found Williams walking towards his bike, which had the machete on top of it, according to the court document. No injuries were reported.
The court filing indicates police suspected Williams of being intoxicated at the time of the incident.
Williams was arraigned on a felony threats charge in Olmsted County Court on Tuesday. His conditional bail was set at $1,000 and he’s due back in court later this month.
