Dodge Center Motorcyclist Taken to Hospital After Crash on Minnesota Freeway
Clarks Grove, MN (KROC-AM News)- A motorcyclist was taken to a hospital after crashing on a southern Minnesota freeway.

He was the only person involved in the crash. The State Patrol responded to the motorcycle crash shortly after 4:30 Wednesday afternoon.
The crash occurred on Interstate 35 in Freeborn County’s Bath Township, which is about five miles north of Albert Lea.
The southbound motorcycle went into the median and crashed, the state crash report says.
61-year-old Shawn David Rasmussen was identified as the motorcycle operator. The Dodge Center man was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester for treatment of what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
He was not wearing a helmet and alcohol was not involved in the motorcycle crash, according to the state report.
The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office, Clarks Grove Fire Department and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also responded to the motorcycle crash.
