As manager, he was tasked with collecting daily cash receipts from the business at closing time. Hill Jr. would pocket some or all of the cash instead of putting it into a safe deposit box, the news release says.

The Woodbury man is also accused of attempting to hide his theft by using future cash receipts to make it appear that the deposits were delayed instead of stolen.

Emails cited in federal court documents say Hill Jr. told the company he was belatedly making the deposits. Hill Jr. spent the stolen money on several items including jewelry, online sports betting, and the adult website Only Fans, the news release says.

Court documents say he also transferred thousands of dollars through CashApp to multiple people, including several female colleagues in exchange for personal photos and videos.
