At Least One Killed in Crash at Rural Minnesota Intersection

Detroit Lakes, MN (KROC-AM News)- There was a deadly crash at an intersection along a rural Minnesota highway Sunday morning.

Two vehicles were involved. The State Patrol responded to the collision shortly after 8 a.m.

It happened at an intersection along Hwy. 10 in rural southeastern Detroit Lakes. The state crash report indicates a car attempting to cross the highway’s eastbound lanes pulled in front of an eastbound Jeep, which caused a T-bone collision.

An 83-year-old Frazee woman was driving the car. The Jeep was driven by a 47-year-old Wadena woman who has a 21-year-old woman passenger who is also from Wadena.

It’s unclear as of Monday who lost their life in the crash and how many lives the two-vehicle crash claimed. No names have been released.

The State Patrol plans to release more information regarding the fatal crash early Monday afternoon.
