Stolen Vehicle Occupants Flee Rochester Police After Brief Pursuit in Olmsted County
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Rochester Police Department is looking for the occupants of a stolen vehicle that fled an attempted Thursday morning.

So far limited information is available. Rochester Police Captain Casey Moilanen said an Olmsted County Sheriff’s deputy was conducting stationary radar when they observed a vehicle speeding.
The deputy attempted to stop the vehicle but it fled, which led to a brief pursuit that the deputy terminated, Moilanen said.
Rochester Police: Suspects Flee Vehicle Stolen in Rochester After Brief Pursuit in Olmsted County
Shortly after the brief pursuit, Rochester Police found the suspect vehicle in the area of the 2400 block of 26th St. Northwest in Rochester.
Moilanen said the responding officers saw the occupants flee the vehicle on foot and attempted to apprehend them. Police later learned the suspect vehicle was reported stolen in Rochester.
Authorities have not said where the deputy was stationed when the alleged speeding vehicle was spotted. Police did not say how many occupants fled the vehicle and if any have been captured.

A description of the suspects is also not available. Moilanen says the incident is under active investigation.
