A Winter Storm Warning will begin at noon Thursday for Olmsted, Mower, Fillmore, Houston and Winona Counties and be in place until 6 a.m. on Friday.

The latest update from the National Weather Service calls for 4-6 inches of snowfall for Rochester and some towns in southeast Minnesota could receive up to 8-inces. Caledonia Area Public Schools: Closing at 1:00 PM

Dover-Eyota Public Schools: Closing at 1:30 PM - No evening activities

Grand Meadow Schools - Closing at 1:00 PM -No PM preschool

Hayfield Schools - Closing at 1:25 PM

Houston Public Schools: Closing at 12:30 PM - No PM Preschool

Howard-Winneshiek Community Schools: Closing at 11:30 AM - No Evening Activities

Lanesboro Public Schools: Closing at 11:00 AM

Riceville Schools - Closing at 1:00 PM

Rochester Beacon Academy: Closing at 11:00AM

Rochester Montessori School: All After School Care and Studios Canceled

Rochester Public Schools will cancel all after school and evening activities.

St John's Lutheran Wykoff - Closing at 1:00 PM

Stewartville Schools - Dismissing 2-hours early
