Chanhassen, MN (KROC-AM News) - A woman died yesterday following a shooting at a Twin Cities gun club.

The Carver County Sheriff's Office issued a statement indicating deputies responded to the Stock and Barrel Gun Club in Chanhassen around 12:15 PM on Thursday and found the woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her head. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Officials have not released her name, but say the woman was 29 years old and from Eden Prairie. The Sheriff's Office has not released any information concerning the circumstances surrounding the deadly shooting, but the news release says there is no danger to the public and investigators are not looking for any suspects at this time.
