Fridley, MN (KROC-AM News) - Authorities in the Twin Cities have released the name of a young drowning victim.
The Anoka County Sheriff's Department says 4-year-old Anany Taddese was pronounced dead at a hospital after he was found in a pond in Fridley Tuesday afternoon. A news release indicates her death was due to drowning but the incident remains under investigation.
The little boy was found unresponsive in the pond after Fridley Police Department officers responded to a report of a four-year-old who had left a nearby residence and was missing. No further information is being released at this time.
