Iowa Starbucks Barista That Was Walking to Work Surprised With Huge Gift From Community

On a Thursday night in February, a Starbucks barista got the surprise of his life.  Taylor has been working as a barista at the Starbucks inside of the Fort Dodge, Iowa Target store the past 2 1/2 years and his customers love him.  They are like his family.

According to Alpha Media, Taylor's customers heard that he was walking to work on some of the harshest days of the year.  Now, I grew up in Fort Dodge, Iowa, and have spent more than enough money at that Target store and I know this...the winters in Iowa are horrible.  The wind is nasty, the temperatures are dangerous at times.  I'm not sure of the science behind it, but I'm pretty sure Fort Dodge, Iowa gets dumped with more snow than Rochester, Minnesota...well, maybe not this week since we are supposed to get over 20 inches of snow.  ;)

The point is this - No one should be walking to work in the winter if they live in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Well, Taylor's customers all pitched in and got together to do something special for him.

"Hi Taylor, we just wanted to let you know that you are an amazing person and that the community recognizes that and so we bought you a car."

Awesome, right?!  What an amazing act of kindness!
