A few months ago, Minnesota was heartbroken when news hit that a baby Red Panda had passed away at one of our favorite zoos.  Today, a ray of light is shining bright as word hit the streets about a brand new arrival in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

Exciting News For Minnesota! Two New Babies Have Arrived at the Minnesota Zoo

On Friday, May 2nd, devastating news hit one of the popular attractions in Minnesota for animal lovers.  Como Park Zoo, a place where about 2 million people visit each year, announced sadly that a baby sloth had passed away.

In the same announcement, they shared some happy news as well - a baby was born!  If you stop by Como Park Zoo, you can see Bleu, a brand-new baby Emperor tamarin.  It is ready for visitors now and can be found in the Primate Building.

But that's not the only brand-new animal arrival in Minnesota!  According to the Minnesota Zoo website, two new babies have joined their squad.

Where Is The Red Panda Forest Located at the Minnesota Zoo?

According to the Minnesota Zoo, the Red Panda Forest is going to be on the Northern Trail.  This is going to be a multispecies habitat that will be the home of the red pandas, Western tufted deer, and red-crowned cranes.
