#TRUTH: 10 Reasons Why Minnesota Is Better Than Iowa
I gripe and complain a lot about Minnesota, especially on the days when my nose hairs freeze, but there are a few good qualities of our state that I am thankful for, especially after this past year. Now that I have officially spent half of my life in Iowa and half in Minnesota, I can verify that the Land of 10,000 Lakes is truly the better place to live.

Two Delicious Places That Iowa Has That Minnesota Is Missing
Now, there are two things that Iowa has that I wish Minnesota could adopt. If these places ventured over the border, I know with 100% certainty that I would be spending quite a bit of money at these restaurants.
- #1 - Taco Tico. My hometown of Fort Dodge, Iowa has one of the Taco Tico locations and it is phenomenal. Crustos are chips that I believe were made in heaven and sent down for us to enjoy. Yum!
- #2 - Hickory Park. Located in the college town of Ames, Iowa is the one and only Hickory Park restaurant. (I was just there on Sunday!) I have zero idea how they make their food so fast and keep prices so affordable but this IS the place to stop if you are ever wanting a good burger. Not only have I been to their current location more times than I can count, but I remember eating at the restaurant before their fancy expansion happened. Yes, I am that old! Oh, and their ice cream menu is something I can't explain, you just have to go and experience it for yourself.
