New Indian Restaurant Opens in Rochester Barlow Plaza

A new restaurant has come to Rochester, MN and I'm really excited to try this place out! They just opened yesterday (January 7th), and the food looks delicious.

The place is called Ityhaas. They call it an 'Indian Culinary Story' serving "an exceptional selection of traditional Indian cuisine". I'm ready for so much tandoori and naan!

For the owners of Ityhaas, this is far from their first rodeo. They and their family have been in the restaurant business for quite a while.

Brothers Tirlochn and Paramjit Mand came to the US from India in 1992, following their older brother, who came to the US and opened a restaurant. 11 years after that, in 2003, Tirlochn and Paramjit opened their first restaurant: India Palace in Eden Prairie.

Since then, they've expanded elsewhere in Minnesota, but also across the US, in Texas, North Dakota, and Colorado. And now, they have a restaurant in Rochester!

Their menu has Indian dishes that are 'all-time favorites', seasonal specialties, as well as fusion options. A little something for everyone to enjoy.

As for pricing, their starters are anywhere between $6 and $19. Mains appear to range from $15 to $23. To me, those seem like super reasonable prices.

I can't wait to visit this place soon. They're located right by Ichiddo Ramen and HyVee in Barlow Plaza.
