Minnesota is Home to Two of the Most Affordable Grocery Stores in the Country
These days, being able to stretch the money you have has been a necessity for many people. Especially your grocery budget. Thankfully, Minnesota is home to two of the most affordable grocery stores in the country.
There are all sorts of "hacks" to save you the most money while out grocery shopping. I don't know what I clicked on but the YouTube algorithm is now serving me grocery store-saving hacks. I'm not mad about it though because saving money wherever I can is awesome.
The Most Expensive Grocery Store in Minnesota
We recently learned about the most expensive grocery store in Minnesota. Unsurprisingly that's Whole Foods (or, My Whole Paycheck Foods, as we joked at a meeting the other day).

But if you're not someone who can willy-nilly throw money at groceries and you want to save what you can while on your grocery run, good news, the two most affordable grocery stores in the state can be found nearly everywhere.
They have tons of locations!
Minnesota's Most Affordable Grocery Stores
One of the most affordable grocery stores in the country (and Minnesota) is good ole Costco.
US News and World Report ranked them as the 7th most affordable in the country. Their study revealed that "75% of survey respondents said Costco offers value for your money."
Of course, if you don't like buying items in bulk then Costco might not be the best option for you. However, the most affordable grocery store in the country would be perfect.
The number one most affordable grocery store in the country is Aldi!
US News and World Report says that "90% of survey respondents said ALDI offers value for your money." It's a place well-known for its affordable groceries that has gained somewhat of a cult following over the years.
I learned a year or two ago that one of the ways Aldi is able to offer such affordable groceries is actually because they don't play any music in their stores. Have you ever noticed that? That way they don't have to pay for the rights to play that music.
Also, speaking of Aldi having a cult following, the Aisle of Shame specifically has a cult following. Have you heard of this? It has nothing to do with groceries. If you've never heard of the Aisle of Shame, do yourself a favor and check it out.
