
Everything You Need to Know for Rochester Pride
Pride Month, which is celebrated in June every year, is fast approaching! But in Rochester, Minnesota, we celebrate Pride a bit early.
Rochester Pride is a fun and exciting event every year, but this year it feels especially important to show up and support our friends and family in the LGBTQ community.
I gathered as much information as I could to get you the details you need to know so we can all have a great time at Rochester Pride!

Rochester Pride Week Events
Leading up to the Pride festivities on Saturday, there are plenty of other events during the week to celebrate (and events to continue the party after Pride on Saturday).
Tuesday, May 13th - 'Slay All Day' beer release - Little Thistle - 6-9 PM
Tuesday, May 13th - Queer Art Nite (18+, masks required) - Art Heads Emporium - 6-8 PM
Wednesday, May 14th - Pride Yoga (registration encouraged) - The Amethyst Yogi Studio - 5:15-7 PM
Thursday, May 15th - LGBTQ+ Youth Board Game Night (registration required) - Northrop Community Ed Center - 6-8 PM
Friday, May 16th - Pride Kick Off Patio Drag Show (21+, tickets required) - Towniws - 9-11 PM

Saturday, May 17th - PRIDE 5k hosted by Med City Marathon (registration required) - 6:30 PM
Saturday, May 17th - PRIDE 5k Cheer Zone - Soldiers Field - 6:40-7:30 PM
Saturday, May 17th - Official Pride After Party - Little Thistle - 6 PM-close
Saturday, May 17th - Youth After Party - Old School Arcade
Sunday, May 18th - Pancakes for Pride - Peace Church - 9-10 AM

When is Rochester Pride
Rochester Pride will be on Saturday, May 17th, from noon until 5 PM.
Where is Rochester Pride
It will be held at Soldier's Field Park.

Tickets for Rochester Pride
Rochester Pride is a free event, so no tickets are needed! Just come and have a good time supporting the LGBTQ community.
Where to Park for Rochester Pride
There's lots of parking around Downtown Rochester, and parking in city lots and street parking is free on the weekends!
Street parking around Soldier's Field would be your closest parking option. Soldier's Field does have their own parking lot, but it's relatively small. Otherwise, the closest public parking ramp would be the 3rd Street Ramp.
What is There to Do at Rochester Pride
At Rochester Pride, you can shop vendors, watch great performers, and eat some delicious food. Of course, things from vendors and food/drinks will cost you money, but the performances are all free.
