Lady Antebellum have released "Heart Break," the title track of their newest album, as their new single. Readers can press play below to listen.

The mid-tempo "Heart Break" is all about being happily single, taking some "me time" and not worrying about rolling solo. In the song's chorus, Hillary Scott sings, “I’m single for the summer / I won’t rebound / One lover to another or be tied down / I’m sleepin' like a queen in the California King I’m in / I think it’s time to take a heart break ...”

Heart Break‘s title track, which Charles Kelley calls one of his “favorite two or three songs off this record,” is about much more than just a broken heart: "It’s a clever idea that Dave [Haywood] had about playing off that heartbreak. Sometimes, your heart needs a break …," Kelley says. "And that’s what we did [by taking a hiatus in 2016]: We felt like our heart creatively needed a break, and we felt like the fans needed a break … [W]e needed to freshen it up, so it’s got a lot of correlation to it.”

Adds Haywood, "The concept of the song is not just heartbreak. It’s about letting your heart take a break … You gotta have some time for yourself. You gotta have some time to relax in between things and relationships."

Heart Break was released in June. Lady Antebellum spent the summer out on the road on their You Look Good World Tour, with Kelsea Ballerini and Brett Young serving as their opening acts; the North American leg of the tour concluded in Nashville on Saturday night (Sept. 9), but a list of upcoming overseas dates is available on the trio's website.
