Life-Changing Jackpot Hit at Minnesota’s Treasure Island Casino

A massive jackpot worth more than $1-millon was hit very early Sunday morning at Treasure Island Resort & Casino in Welch, Minnesota.

A press release from Treasure Island Resort & Casino says, “A lucky Minnesotan won a wide-area progressive jackpot worth $1,101,111.26 while playing Aristocrat’s Buffalo Grand™ video slot game. The life-changing jackpot was hit at 2:43 am when a guest landed the game’s top winning combination.”

The winner, who is choosing to remain anonymous, didn’t even understand what had happened at first. A TI rep said the person didn’t realize the winning amount right away, “the guest was in total disbelief”, he or she thought they had hit a small jackpot.

No word on if the lucky person has slept yet. I know I’d still be partying on Cloud 9!
