I don't know about you, but I'm still trying to lose the weight I gained at this year's Minnesota State Fair. The food was sooooooooo good , the attractions were fun and Dierks Bently was the highlight of my summer.

Bring Me The News claims that the first grandstand event for the 2020 Minnesota State Fair will be The Doobie Brothers on Friday, August 28th.  The band is known for their singles "Listen to the Music," and "Jesus Is Just Alright." The article says that this is part of their 50th-anniversary tour and they will be accompanied by special guests, Dirty Dozen Brass Band.

Tickets for this grandstand event at Great Minnesota Get Together will go on sale at 10 am on December 5th. There are two ticket prices, the first is $54.25 and the second one is set at $69.25. If you are planning on getting your tickets at the State Fair box office, they will be open on December 6th from 10 am to 1 pm. You can also get your tickets online here, or by calling 800-514-3849. The prediction is that tickets will go fast, so the sooner the better.

The article says like any other grandstand event, at the end of the concert there will be a firework show. This is just the first act to be announced for one of the most fun events of the summer in the land of ten thousand lakes. Any guesses on who will be next?
