That's now two rescues in three days for the Minnesota State Patrol, as troopers have once again come to the aid of another injured eagle.

This time, state troopers, as well as a local sheriff's deputy, are being credited with rescuing an injured bald eagle north of Faribault earlier this week. The Faribault Veterinary Clinic posted a message on its Facebook page Tuesday about their injured bird that's now in their care.

“A big thank you to the officers who rescued this beautiful creature,” noting a state trooper and a sheriff’s deputy brought in the injured eagle," the clinic said, according to a BringMeTheNewsStory.

The story went on to say the clinic was babysitting the bird until the University of Minnesota Raptor Center could come and retrieve the injured eagle, and care for it at its center in Minneapolis.

Earlier this week, a Minnesota state trooper rescued an injured bald eagle who was hit by a car along I-494 in Mendota Heights, using his jacket to help pick up the bird and then transport him in his cruise to the Raptor Center.
