Minnesota Teen Competes Again on National TV Show
She came THISCLOSE to winning the whole thing last year, and now Minnesota's own Iva Ego once again wowed the judges on NBC's 'World of Dance.'
If you're not familiar with 'World of Dance,' it's NBC-TV's reality dance competition show that airs during the summer. Think of it as NBC's version of 'Dancing With The Stars,' except the stars aren't competing for the million dollar grand prize.
Actually, I guess it's more like 'American Idol,' or 'The Voice,' because it features contestants from all over the country, but instead of singing, they're showing off their incredible dance moves.
And, last year, Inver Grove Heights teenager, Iva Ego, competed on the show-- and nearly won the whole thing, coming in second. Well, earlier this week, she made her appearance on this season's fourth episode, and once again blew away the celebrity judges Jennifer Lopez, Derek Hough and Ne-Yo. Even host Jenna Dewan was impressed, this BringMeTheNews story said.
Her performances were enough to send her through to the next round, as she continues her journey to try to grab this year's grand prize. You can watch the full episode of NBC's 'World of Dance' HERE.
