Minnesota is a beautiful place to call home, with its stunning lakes, vibrant cities, and endless outdoor adventures. But let’s face it, while the Land of 10,000 Lakes has plenty of charm, not every corner is bursting with excitement.

Some towns, despite being surrounded by all that natural beauty, are just downright boring. But how does one determine the most dull places to live in all of Minnesota?

Is it the lack of things to do? Distance to major shopping areas? Not enough dining establishments? Road Snacks didn't look at those things when determining the most boring places in Minnesota. They actually took a look at the people. You read that correctly!

Perhaps a more fitting title would be "The Towns With the Most Boring People?" LOL. Now, don't shoot the messenger when I explain their take on what makes someone "boring."

While reading further into this study, I realized I am 100% considered boring to these people. I'm over 25, married, with a kid... I'm cool! Where do I object to this?

To figure out how boring a place is, we factored in things we generally think make people exciting, and then we figure out which cities have the least number of those exciting people. - Road Snacks.

So, they specifically focused on Minnesota cities with populations of at least 5,000 to avoid including tiny communities filled with those wild retirees. ;)
