MSP Has a Long History of Airport Awards and Recognition

This isn't the first time Minnesota's MSP has been singled out as being top in the nation. In 2024, MSP was again named the best not just in the U.S., but on the entire North American continent according to the ASQ Awards and Recognition survey. And MSP was also named the number one U.S. airport in the 2024 Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards.

Plus, last year, MSP was singled out as the best airport in the country when it comes to flight disruptions. Or specifically, when it comes to minimizing those flight disruptions. But wait, there's more: Last year, MSP has regularly placed among the top airports in the country according to an annual survey by the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), as well as having recently been named one of the cleanest airports in the world.

And, don't forget, MSP was also named Best in North America for four straight years between 2016 and 2019, and also earned a spot on the ACI Director General’s Roll of Excellence in Airport Service Quality in 2020, MSP noted in a release.

Plus, MSP was rated as the Fourth-Best Regional Airport in North America in 2022, with only Houston, Denver, and Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky ranking higher. And

MSP also ranked 9th on the list of Cleanest Airports in North America for 2021, according to the SkyTrax World Airport Awards, as well.
