I hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving Day and holiday weekend; I know I sure did. Take a look at what transpired in my life over the past few days, in five pictures.

My wife and I ended up hosting a Thanksgiving/holiday dinner for my side of the family. Circumstances won't allow us to all get together again until January, so we kind of did Thanksgiving and Christmas all at once. That meant I got to practice my turkey-carving skills-- which still need a lot of practice!

We also set up our holiday decorations and Christmas tree this weekend, as many other folks across southeast Minnesota did, as well. Even one of our cats, Bagsy, got into the spirit. And, of course, the Bumble, from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, found a spot on our mantel, as well.

And, seeing as last Wednesday was my birthday (thanks for all the greetings and well-wishes, by the way!), we got together with some friends Saturday and hit the lanes. I don't want to brag, but a certain birthday-celebrator rolled a 161! (That was after a rolled a lowly 99 on the first game.)
