It's hard to believe, but summer is reaching its halfway point — still, August 2017's new pop album releases are sure to keep things fiery.

Next month, big-time artists in the country world, indie universe and straight-up pop stratosphere will each set forth to wow listeners with new music. Kesha will kick off one of the most anticipated comebacks in recent pop history with Rainbow, her first LP in five years, while Girls Generation will celebrate their own long-awaited anniversary with a secret 10th anniversary project.

A little more under-the-radar is Iron & Wine, whose Beast Epic will surely offer the dreamy feel listeners have come to expect, while Susanne Sundfor will aim for something cosmic with her sixth full-length work, Music for People in Trouble.
