Olmsted County Commissioners Freeze Their Salaries

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Olmsted County Board has approved its 2021 budget.
Included in the budget are the salaries the commissioners and others will be paid next year.
The commissioners voted unanimously to freeze their salaries at $49,000, the same as this year. They will each also receive monthly stipends of $500.
The board also approved next year’s salaries for Sheriff Kevin Torgerson and County Attorney Mark Ostrem. Both will be paid the same as this year.
Torgerson will be paid $149,000 while Ostrem will receive just over $184,000.
