According to QuoteWizard analysts, Minnesotans could be doing much better on the roads, especially those who live in Minneapolis.

Workers at QuoteWizard analyzed two million car insurance quotes from drivers in America's seventy largest cities. To determine overall driver quality cities were evaluated on four factors.

Study Factors:

  • Accidents
  • Speeding Tickets
  • DUIs
  • Citations (running a red light, using a cellphone while driving, etc)

I hate to break it to you guys, but Minneapolis is No. 19 on the list of worst drivers.

Here's the breakdown:

Minneapolis is the 48th worst for accidents, 22nd for speeding, 16th for citations, and 7th worst for DUIs. Mixing all that together, we land at No. 19.

All I can say is at least we aren't in the top ten! Though, we have room for plenty of improvement.
