Coming up with just the right name for a pet is sometimes tricky-- you want a name that you like but also one that fits your pet's personality. Which is why the latest addition to our furry family is still waiting for that perfect name.

We wanted to get a younger cat so our other young cat, Finn, would have someone else to play with. So, last Saturday, we found this little guy waiting to be adopted at the Steele County Humane Society in Owatonna.

He's 4-months old and weighs a mere 3-pounds, and he's the most mellow kitten-- or cat, for that matter-- I've ever met. He's more than content to take a nap on your lap, or the couch, the bed, or wherever. He plays some, but not at all like most kittens I've seen. He mainly just likes to sleep. He's so calm, we wondered if he was ill, but he checked out just fine at his vet appointment; his mellowness is apparently just part of his personality.

He's a very sweet kitten-- but we haven't found a name that fits him perfectly just yet. We thought maybe Theodore (or Teddy, for short) might work, or maybe Linus, Emmett or Loki (because he's so low key). But none of those really seem to fit just yet. So we're still looking. I've been calling him Little Guy or New Guy until we find the right name.

Do you have any suggestions?
