PARENTS: Rochester’s SPARKtacular Fall Fest Is Friday Afternoon

Celebrate the Season with the Sparktacular Fall Fest

Tomorrow (Friday, October 29) from 4 - 6 PM it's the Sparktacular Fall Fest at SPARK, at the Apache Mall in Rochester, Minnesota.

"Spark's Mission is to enrich the lives of young learners by creating shared, interactive experiences that engage people of all ages in the joy of play, the power of learning, and a sense of community."

According to SPARK, the fun isn't limited to the afternoon and evening, it'll be going on all day with activities, games, and crafts.

Then, from 4 PM - 6 PM, they "turn silly and spooky with fun for the whole family." The fun includes hands-on experiments, contests, and of course, a costume parade thru the Apache Mall at 5:40ish (can't have a Fall Fest without a parade). SPARK says 5:40 PM, but costumed kid herding is a difficult thing.

Are your pumpkin decorating skills strong? Then there's a contest for you. Just bring your completed pumpkin to the event for a chance to win prizes. There will be a silly and a creative prize category.

If you come in costume, either as a family or an individual, make sure to enter in the Do It Yourself or the Family Costume category by 5 PM at the latest.
