Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester has entered into a plea agreement to settle two sex abuse cases against him.

41-year-old John Stubbs pleaded guilty earlier this week to one count each of second-degree criminal sexual conduct and possession of child pornography. A total of 14 other felony criminal sexual conduct and child pornography-related charges were dropped through the plea deal.

Stubbs was accused of sexually abusing a young girl on multiple occasions between June 2010 and December 2012. The charges indicated the victim was 10-years-old when the abuse began.

The child pornography charge stemmed from a separate investigation into the suspicious death of an unborn child that led to the discovery that Stubbs had been in a "significant sexual relationship" with the baby's mother, who was under the age of 18. The young woman told investigators Stubbs created several sexually explicit videos of the two when she was 16 and 17-years-old.

A sentencing hearing for Stubbs has been scheduled on August 26th in Olmsted County Court.
