Christmas decorations are already up at a Rochester, Minnesota store.
Have you ever walked by something and had to do a double-take. That was me as I was walking through the Rochester, Minnesota Hobby Lobby store a few weekends ago. I was searching for the good clearance items and was not mentally prepared for what I ran into. CHRISTMAS! I was shocked to see wreaths and the typical Christmas plaid ribbons around the first day of Summer.
If you go to Hobby Lobby and venture over to the left side of the store, you WILL see Christmas. The full trees weren't up when I walked through but there were a whole bunch of wreaths and ribbons that you could throw in your cart and save for the big day. You can read more about this holiday find here.
Did you go trick-or-treating during the big weather disaster on Halloween?
I grew up in Iowa and remember the horrible Halloween where it was snowing and then little ice pellets were hitting me as I was walking door-to-door with my siblings getting candy. Little did we know that in a few more hours, we would lose power for weeks at our house and have to go stay with friends that had a wood-burning fireplace. That Halloween is on the list below and is one of the many weather disasters that have wrecked the Minnesota landscape and where many lives were lost.
