How You Can Share Your Input On Area State and Federal Transportation Projects
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Rochester-Olmsted Council of Government (ROCOG) has released a draft of the 2022-2025 Transportation Improvement Program for a 30-day public comment period.
The TIP is a multi-year program of federally funded transportation improvements in the Rochester-Olmsted County region.
According to a news release, the draft TIP will be discussed during the ROCOG public meeting on August 25th at Noon in Rochester at 2122 Campus Dr SE, Conference Room 186. The meeting will also be accessible to the public via Microsoft Teams
Public comments and suggestions regarding the draft TIP are welcome during this meeting. Those that chose to attend the meeting in person will be required to wear a mask covering the nose and mouth and seating will be properly distanced.
ROCOG is also planning an in-person open house on Tuesday, August 31st from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Olmsted County Planning Department in Rochester at 2122 Campus Drive SE, Conference Room A.
The news released noted that this in-person open house may be postponed or canceled due to the changing circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic. ROCOG will also be conducting two virtual open houses via Microsoft Teams: Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm; and Wednesday, September 8, 2021, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm.
