I mean, let's be honest. You didn't think you were going to get away with it forever did you?

Much like how the breathalyzer is used to identify drunk drivers, this thing would allow police to see if a motorist had been texting, emailing or otherwise using his or her cellphone before a serious crash.

The good news for you is twofold: First off, you've got time to think up some clever ways to keep your phone out of your hands, because according to the Associated Press, the "Textalyzer" is still a few months away from being ready.

Secondly, they'll be introducing the device in the state of New York, where the amount of texting and driving accidents are staggering.

In other words: PUT IT AWAY!
