Rochester Beach Reopening

Rochester, , MN (KROC AM News) - Good news just in time for an expected warm weekend in the Rochester area.

The Rochester Parks & Recreation Department will reopen Cascade Lake Beach Friday.

It was closed last week due to “elevated bacteria levels” that posed a threat to swimmers.

Results from tests taken Wednesday indicate the bacteria had “returned to an acceptable level.”
