Rochester Man Competing At World Cross Fit Games In Wisconsin

Many of us have done CrossFit at some point in our lives. I tried it before I had shoulder surgery so I’m no longer allowed to do power lifts because of the strain it put on my shoulder, but I LOVE it!

Rochester is being represented at the 2019 CrossFit Games! KTTC reports that Jeremy Mghenyi grew up in Rochester, but originally from Kenya has been selected to test his skills against some of the best athletes in the world. The story continues to say that he will be representing his home country (Kenya) at the games.

According to the article Mghenyi has been doing CrossFit for ten years, but this is his first time competing at this high of a level. Where is this all taking place? About 200 miles from Rochester over in Madison, Wisconsin. The competition goes through this weekend, so hopefully, we will have results early next week. Good luck friend!
