Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man was arrested over the weekend after intentionally crashing his bicycle into a Rochester police car.

Officers were sent to the Oak Terrace Estates neighborhood around 1:30 am Sunday to check a report of an attempted break-in.

While on their way there, officers learned a pizza delivery driver was approached by a man with a large wrench who tried to hit his car. The man drove away and called 911.

The officers spotted the suspect nearby riding a bicycle and while trying to get him to stop, he rammed one of the squads and then began fighting with the officers.

They suspected the man was high on drugs and he was taken to the hospital to be checked out.  He was later taken to jail.
